School Fundraisers

Each year the Dawson Parents Association assists Susan Miller and the Dawson Development Office with their major fundraising events. All funds raised are used for school operating expenses, merit scholarships, mini-grants for teacher enrichment and desired educational equipment for curriculum enhancement. Each dollar raised contributes to making the Dawson student experience an extraordinary one.

The Annual Fund:

The Dawson Annual Fund supports all aspects of the student experience at Dawson today. By design, tuition only covers 85% of the cost of educating a Dawson student. The Annual Fund helps close the gap – and is 100% tax deductible. The DPA supports the Annual Fund initiative by spreading the word through parent class representatives and answering any questions that may arise. The Farm to Table Dinner:

Imagine a magical evening with friends, enjoying a sumptuous meal by renowned chefs, including locally sourced food and premium wines and beer, watching the sun set from the beautiful Dawson campus. You are envisioning Dawson’s inaugural Farm To Table Dinner event, Sunday September 20, 2015 at 5PM — and you’re invited!

The Spring Auction:

An Evening with Friends Social & Auction
This is the last Dawson Community event of the year and packs a huge fundraising-punch! While enjoying great food, music, conversations, and drinks, proceeds from the night’s admission ticket, as well as silent and live auction sales, benefit the school. Some past themed Auction evenings have been spent at The Nile, The Olympics, Kentucky Derby, under a disco ball, at Cinco de Mayo, poolside under the lights, and the rodeo.  2013 featured The Swanky Soiree, while in 2014, it reminded us that Diamonds — and Dawson — are Forever. The DPA volunteers to help with different segments of this great event and tends to be the first on the dance floor!
